Dorigorus (ドリゴラス, Dorigorasu) was the first monster Fireman ever fought in episode 1 of his TV show, Fireman.

History

Fireman

Dorigorus was a 100 million year old Triceratops that lived in the bottom of the sea with his sister, Dorigon. The two wake up from their hibernation every 1 million - 1 thousand years making 1973 the year. Then as a meteor shower occurred over their region the two ate the meteors giving the two special powers!

After his sister was killed, Dorigorus began his assault. Dorigorus attacked his first victim, a drunken man. The Ocean Marine group came to investigate and decided to look in the ocean to find the mutant triceratops. Dorigorus ran fast looking for his sister, confusing the Ocean Marine group. Hours later, Dorigorus came out of a mountain in search for his dead mate Dorigon. Dorigorus wrecked havoc for his search causing Daisuke Misaki to transform into Fireman ! After a almost even matched fight, Fireman used his Fire Jack to cut off Dorigorus' horn in a sense of Deja Vu Fireman used his Fire flash to defeat Dorigorus. These events lead to the foundation of SAF (Scientific Attack Force).

Trivia

Like his sister, Dorigorus's design was a homage to the Toho monster, Baragon.
Dorigorus' suit was heavily remodeled into Okariyan.
Dorigorus was among the kaiju seen in stock footage in Dinosaur Great War Izenborg.
In Mirror Fight, he has Antlar's roar.

Powers and Weapons

Energy Blast: Dorigorus can fire quick, yet very devastating energy blasts from its maw.
Energy Arrow: Dorigorus can fire multiply energy like spear tips from its main horn
Electric Horn: Dorigorus can electrify any foe that is dumb enough to grab onto its cranial horn.
Adept Swimmer: Dorigon is a adept swimmer.

Weakness

If the horn on Dorigorus' head is removed, he is basically helpless.

Other media

Mirror Fight

Dorigorus, for some odd reason, appeared again, after almost thirty years, in Mirror Fight where he was seen fighting Iaron. The suit was reused from stage shows, as the original was destroyed.
