Trivia[]
- The episode's title echoes the English proverb "Truth is Time's daughter'"[1]
- Producer Hiroyasu Shibuya explained that, since episodes 13 and 14 conclude the first quarter, he wanted to depict Musashi’s struggles and rebirth. The core themes of the Ultraman Series are "strength and gentleness", with Cosmos placing greater emphasis on gentleness. However, this focus required the expression of certain contrasting traits. Taking these elements into account, Ai Ota proposed the concept for this episode.[2]
- Although Waroga is evil, defeating him would mean killing Reni, making the battle one of painful choices. While there were concerns that such themes might be too intense for Cosmos, Shibuya believed that the characters needed to face the weight of reality in order to truly grasp the meaning of their dreams. These ideas were deliberately woven into the story.
- As one of many selected to celebrate the Ultraman Series' 60th anniversary, this episode was made available on the Ultraman YouTube channel from November 12, 2025 for two weeks, following November's theme of "The Story of Hope."[3][4][5]
