The Darknesphere is the interstellar transport of Alien Empera, who he used to travel across the universe. Additionally, it is also utilized by members of the Empera Army on varying capacity.

History

Ultraman Mebius

The Darknesphere made its first appearance to transport Empera to Earth once the humans made it clear to defy his rule and standing in solidarity to Ultraman Mebius' own wellbeing. ^{Dark Clouds of Despair -Final Trilogy II-}

Ultraman Mebius Side Story: Armored Darkness

Following Alien Empera's defeat, the Darknesphere continues to orbiting around the Earth's atmosphere, but it begins to descend due to the activation of Armored Darkness, followed by the resurrection of past defeated monsters. While the new recruits of Crew GUYS are dispatched against the monster, Ryu Aihara and Haruzaki dives into the sphere, discovering its pocket dimension and coming across Armored Darkness. The entire battle around the past GUYS members and the Ultras against the sentient armor takes place within the Darknesphere. Although Mebius Phoenix Brave was able to destroy Armored Darkness, the Sphere continues to descend even further. Ultraman Hikari offers himself to bring the Darknesphere away from Earth to the Land of Light, where the holy flames of Ultra Tower would hopefully destroys the construct for good. ^{Ultraman Mebius Side Story: Armored Darkness}

Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Adventure NEO

At some point of time, Alien Reiblood had rebuilt the Armored Darkness and the Darknesphere as part of his reinforcements.

Having followed Ai Asama and Kanegon to the past, Grozam tracked them to the Planet Hammer during Rei's active participation in the Reionics Battle and rediscover the Darknesphere, where he proclaims it as The Great Emperor's Throne . Within the sphere leads to Grozam reunited with the sentient armor as fellow ex-servants of Empera, the two working together to defeat their opponents but Grozan was killed by Ai's Red King Reionic Burst and Vittorio/EX Gomora. The sphere was left behind as Seven dives in to seal the Armored Darkness at the cost of himself, setting forth the motion of Rei and Hyuga discovering his Eye Slugger during Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey.

The Darknesphere also appeared in Mega Monster Battle: ULTRA MONSTERS NEO when the game's story mode adapted some of the manga. It also becomes part of the Inpelaizer's attack.

Powers

• Interstellar Travel: The Darknesphere acts as a transportation for Empera to get to his destination in the universe.
• Pocket Dimension: While 50 meters in diameter from the outside, it houses its own pocket dimension. According to Ryu, it resembles the dark clouds that Empera summoned during his arrival to Earth.
  • Energy Draining: Only towards the Ultras, the Darknesphere's pocket dimension can weaken their powers for as long as they choose to stay within it.
• Planetary-Scale Environmental Destruction: As hypothesized, the Darknesphere can cause a planetary scale disaster if it reached the surface of the Earth.
• Dark Satellite Fire : A finishing move of the Inpelaizer in ULTRA MONSTERS NEO. The Inpelaizer summons the Darknesphere and commands it to fire on the opponent, shooting purple energy bullets.
