History
Ultra Galaxy Legend Gaiden: Ultraman Zero vs. Darklops Zero
- Main article: Darklops Zero
A prototype named Darklops Zero appears in Ultra Galaxy Legend Gaiden as one of the main villains.
Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial
The Darklops were mass produced in Malebrandes as invasion armies, accompanying the Legionoids in invading planets, including Planet Anu. Learning from the mistake of Darklops Zero, they were empowered by System Core Minus Energy.
within their chest that fuel the machines withIn the beginning of the movie, Belial sent three members of his Darklops army to the Land of Light via Delusts for an invasion, but they were destroyed by the combined efforts of Ultraseven and Ultraman Zero. As Zero (in Run's body) was captured by Belial, other fleets of Darklops mobilized to attack the Land of Light and fought against the Ultra Warriors. Despite their greater numbers, the Darklops were eventually defeated just as Zero and his comrades managed to defeat Belial.
Trivia
- Darklops are voiced by Mamoru Miyano, who also voiced the real Ultraman Zero.
- The existence of the Darklops only came about due to the overwhelming popularity of their prototype.
- Despite supposedly being a later model than their prototype, the Darklops gave Zero very little trouble even in groups.
- It may be possible, however unlikely, that Belial made them a bit simpler, so that he could quickly mass produce them.
- It could also be possible that it was because of Alien Salome's modification that Zero was having a hard time beating him.
- In addition to lacking a Dimension Core, the Darklops are known to have smaller claws on their fingers as distinction from their prototype. However, such features were never used as weapons in close combat.
Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroad
The last remnants of Belial's army, a platoon of Darklops' and Legionoids, were reawakened among the ruins of their fallen empire, reacting to the presence of their leader's fragmented remains, the Devil Splinter. Ultraman X, Ultraman Geed and Ultraman Titas arrived to destroy them. They soon found themselves overwhelmed by the volume of units remaining, before Ultraman Z arrived to help them. The four disposed of the robots, finally ridding the universe of the last of the empire.
