Dan Umezu is a character that appears in Ultraman Ace.

Dan lost his father in a car accident a year ago because of Gitagitanga. After meeting Hokuto, he regards Hokuto as his older brother.
In the series, since he and his sister Kayoko live next door to the Hokuto family, the two appear many times and are often involved in events related to Terrible-Monsters.
He can see the Ultra Star and predict the appearance of Terrible-Monsters. Therefore, he specifically called himself "The Sixth Ultra Brother." However, this ability is not directly related to the Ultra Brothers and Ultraman Taro. After episode 43, he did not appear again.

- Dan's name comes from the eldest son of Shukei Nagasaka, who wrote the script for episode 29.
- Dan was originally planned to appear in Ultraman Mebius & the Ultra Brothers 2, which was planned before Great Decisive Battle! The Super 8 Ultra Brothers, along side with Isamu Hoshino, Jiro Sakata, Kenichi Shiratori and Toru Umeda. However, due to changes in the plan, Dan's appearance was canceled.
