Kyasshi (キャッシー, Kyasshī) (also known as "Kiyathi") is a monster that appeared in Ultraman 80.

History

Ultraman 80

Every hundred years, a monster was said to appear in the mountain village of Kya. In that year, the village chief decided to use the legend as a tourist attraction strategy, placing fraudulent records of monster roars in various areas. However, the real Kyasshi awoke.

When UGM attacked, they could not faze the creature with the weapons. However, they found that it would run out of energy if it did not eat meat. When it tried to eat two villagers, Takeshi transformed. 80 and the monster battled, while Kyasshi tried to eat the hero himself. Ultraman managed to defend himself until the kaiju collapsed from hunger.

80 then flew the monster to a place where it could sleep undisturbed.

Powers/Weapons

Fire Breath: Kyasshi can emit a stream of flame from his mouth.
Smoke Breath: If Kyasshi runs out of energy, his flame breath will be smoke breath instead.
Telekinesis: Kyasshi can use telekineses to bring his prey closer.

Trivia

Kyasshi Roar is a modified Gabara roar.
The Crescent suit from Ultraman 80 episode 1 was modified for Kyasshi's costume.
Kyasshi is compared to Ghostron for some reason.
