New Generation Series

Ultra Series which aired after the Ultraman Zero movies, though still within the Heisei Era.

What sets them apart from their predecessors is that the media they appear in further prioritizes the sales of toys and gimmicks, as well as their series being shortened to less than 30 episodes, and were aired as part of New Ultraman Retsuden until Ultraman Orb. Furthermore, their series are followed up by a movie in the year after their series ends. New series are no longer aired back-to-back, and are followed up by a Chronicle recap show after the series ends.

As seen with Ultraman Taiga, the New Generation label still continues into the Reiwa era.

The website Ultraman Galaxy recognizes these entries of the Ultraman Series shows as the Third Generation.
