The Lord Monsters [1] are a subclass of Kaiju that first appeared in Ultraman Orb.
Lord Monsters are personifications of Earth's elements given life as monsters by the power of the original Lord Monster, Maga-Orochi.
Excluding Zeppandon (a Lord Monster only through Maga-Orochi's tail) and Maga-Orochi (the progenitor of Lord Monsters), there are six known Lord Monsters:
- Maga-Zetton - Light Lord Monster
- Magatanothor - Darkness Lord Monster
- Maga-Pandon - Fire Lord Monster
- Maga-Jappa - Water Lord Monster
- Maga-Grand King - Earth Lord Monster
- Maga-Basser - Wind Lord Monster
The kanji for Lord Monster translates literally to "Demon King Beast." Crunchyroll's English simulcast subtitles translated it as "King Devil Beast," as well as "King Demon Beast" in the first three episodes. However, English marketing has used "Lord Monster" since 2018.[2]
