The series was meant to serve as a filler series after Ultraman ended as Tsuburaya Productions prepared for production of their next Ultra Series.
Synopsis
Captain Ultra, aided by his two companions Joe and Hack, leads the Space Patrol. Their mission is to protect the Solar System from aggressive aliens.
One day, the Space Patrol's observation satellite discovers a strange formation approaching Earth at high speed. Captain Ultra is sent out to intercept and identify the intruders. When he closes in he finds them to be invading ships from the planet Vande. In the insuring space battle, young Kenji, but when they get back to the observation satellite they discover that the whole thing had been a ruse to get Captain Ultra away...
