isHistory[]
Ultraman Blazar[]
The Blazar Brace appeared on Gento's arm when he was about to be crushed by a falling building caused by Bazanga. The brace itself forced Gento to transform into Ultraman Blazar. First Wave
Transformation[]
Gento Hiruma inserts a Blazar Stone into the slot and presses on the other end of the device to initiate the transformation.
Trivia[]
- In the planning stages, the Blazar Brace was originally named the Spiral Plug [3] , with key motifs taken from the DNA double helix. As with the Blazar Stones, the idea was for the Blazar Brace to look like a naturally-occurring mineral from space. As such, red and blue accents inspired by the DNA double helix concept were added to a mineral-gray body, and a blue crystal cover was added to have it avoid looking too plain.
- Kiyotaka Taguchi, the director of Ultraman Blazar, wanted the Blazar Brace to incorporate a new gimmick and appear less toyetic. To that end, Bandai incorporated the POV display technology previously seen in the Drive Driver from Kamen Rider Drive and the Sky Mirage from Hirogaru Sky! Pretty Cure into the Blazar Brace, the first of its kind in an Ultraman toy. [3]
