Big Set! Ultra Hero Theme Song & Famous Scene Collection! is a three-part direct-to-DVD set of specials all about the music of the Ultraman Series up to late 2003. The specials are hosted by Project DMM, alongside a guest Ultraman, as they present various main themes and insert themes from across the series' history up to that point, all accompanied with footage of the song's show's highlights. The media represented is spread out across the three releases and does not follow in the franchise's chronological order. Each special's final song is a pre-recorded live performance of DMM performing one of their, at the time few, songs from the series.
Following the specials, a segment entitled Big Hunt! Ultra Theme Song Secrets , in which host Mariko Iwasa from i-chips interviews various important people at Tsuburaya Productions who discuss the behind the scenes of the songs both used and cut from the various shows.
