The specials are hosted by Project DMM, alongside a guest Ultraman, as they present various main themes and insert themes from across the series' history up to that point, all accompanied with footage of the song's show's highlights. The media represented is spread out across the three releases and does not follow in the franchise's chronological order. Each special's final song is a pre-recorded live performance of DMM performing one of their, at the time few, songs from the series.
