Big Liger is a Kaiju that was meant to be in the Redman series.

History

Redman (comic)

Big Liger first appeared officially in the Redman comic drawn by Matt Frank. In the fifth issue, a Big Liger engaged Redman and was quickly killed. Soon after, a massive swarm of Big Liger surprised and began to overpower Redman, before he freed himself by unleashed a never before seen attack; Reddo Thunder. Redman then finished off the rest of the Ligers with a hail of Red Arrows.

In the second volume, another swarm of Big Liger, led by King Maimai appeared to live at a rock pillar above a "cave" where the Cicada People viewed Redman. After Maimai was killed, Redman dispatched the rest of the swarm just like in the first volume.

Trivia

• Big Liger's name ('Liger') shares the same name with a real life hybrid animal of Lion and Tiger.
