As with Chuck and Scott, Beth was a member of a stunt air crew entertaining the public with aerial acrobatics with their fighter planes. Suddenly and without warning three balls of light crashed into their planes, totally destroying them. Seemingly a micracle, the three escaped any form of injury but due to the nature of the incident were suspended indefinately.

Transformation
After they first merged with their Ultra counterparts, the Ultra Force could only change when they were in mortal danger. After her first instance, she was able to transform at will signified by a light in her eyes.
