Avenger of the Star is the third episode of Ultraman Taiga. It is the debut of Hiroyuki Kudo's first transformation as Ultraman Titas.

Synopsis

Rento Kujo, an astronaut who issued a murder notice to the president of Cozmo Technica, died in an unfortunate accident. However, Hiroyuki discovered the truth behind the accident.

Plot

A month ago, an astronaut, Rento Kujo, saw a rocket, colliding a satellite in a huge explosion. Later, the now-died himself resurrected by Kirisaki/Tregear using his corruption.

In the EGIS HQ in the present day, Kana has a new job. She places her advance payment, costing Y10,000,000, on a table while Hiroyuki and Homare seeing, Pirika applauding. Kana give a card to him that he saw the president of Cozmo Technica, the up-and-coming venture company, but she plugs a flash drive to turn on the screen to see memories. Rento realizes the severity of your sins, as the screen changes into another one, Hiroyuki saw a rocket, reading "Happy Birthday", before colliding Rento's satellite. She tells them a murderous warning sent to the president, but "This is an article about the incident last month." Pirika told, they saw "The Space Station's Mysterious Explosion" that it was caused by the president's birthday rocket. After Homare left, Kana gives a jacket to Hiroyuki before he left. At night, in Cozmo Technica, the reporters reveal the identity before the president, Imazato, calms them down. They saw the resurrected Rento, who'll erase the president's pathetic life right now, uses a gun, the reporters retreat alongside other people except Hiroyuki. That Kirisaki saw an astronaut while the revenge begins... Hiroyuki grabs Rento's right arm, chops his right hand, and kicks the gun away. Hiroyuki hugs Rento that the revenge is wrong, but he pushes the rookie member and gets his gun. As he puts it down, he reveals his memory during the flashback: he and his mother, Nana, see the stars that they want to go to space together and she saw the birthday rocket but covers the explosion while he shouts her name as his last words before his death, so that he will rid the world before he left. Taiga tells Hiroyuki that the warrior's hatred from having someone dear taken away from the member as he left.

Homare follows Imazato to get out of here, but Rento summons a portal to trap the president into space that Hiroyuki saved but pushed by Imazato. Homare holds Hiroyuki's arm that Rento hears her voice as the portal closes. He hears Tregear's voice about going ahead and hate before he left, followed by Hiroyuki. At the top of the building, Rento controls the satellite before he transforms into the upgraded Civil Judgementer, Galactron MK2, Following its transformation, Hiroyuki transforms into Taiga to do battle, but hesitates because he knows that Rento is inside the robot. Taiga is easily dealt with and knocked down, unable to retaliate. Suddenly, the yellow light appears from space, goes into Galactron and pulls out Rento's spirit, who was reunited with her. The couple then disappeared into the afterlife, no longer seeking revenge. As the light goes to Taiga's body, he reunites the second member of Tri-Squad, so Hiroyuki swaps the light hero, who injured, and transforms into the wise man of power, Ultraman Titas. He punches the axe-like veil and Galactron's face, strikes the chest using his elbow, and uses Geed-let to perform Wrecking Buster to defeat Galactron, putting the robot's end for good. Once, he grabs Galactron Ring, the second ring-type accesory, before he left. Kirisaki transforms into Tregear for the second time. Titas wants to destroy the falling satellites, but Tregear attacked him. Titas refused to fight back until he destroyed the falling satellites first. After the battle, Imazato tells Homare that we put a memorial of Rento and Nana on a rocket and he punches the president. In space, Taiga tells Hiroyuki to clean that garbage up. The next day, Kana ordered a sushi, so she cues the applause again, Taiga and Titas saw her ripped payment in a trash can, but they want to stay inside the HQ, then Hiroyuki tells them that we're gonna need a bigger room.

The Return of Titas

While training, Titas explains to Taiga the circumstances of how he came to Earth. He was attracted to Nana Kujo's strong feelings in the same way Taiga was to Hiroyuki. As Taiga and Titas continue their conversation, they come to the conclusion that it was nothing short of a miracle that they managed to find each other in the same world, and that it was simply meant to happen. They talk about Fuma, and Titas reassures Taiga that he would pop out of nowhere eventually. Taiga also wants Titas to stop training while they are having a conversation but Titas says that spending the last twelve years as particles has caused his body to go out of shape, but it's stressing Taiga out. They continue to talk about Fuma, saying that once he returns the Tri-Squad will be together again, and then reminisce over past events.
