Atsuko Tanaka
is a Japanese performer and script supervisor.Biography[]
Tanaka was born in Tokyo in 1942. In the 1960s, after graduating from the Joshibi University of Art and Design, she became an apprentice screenwriter for a production company and later joined Tsuburaya Productions, where she participated in the production of some of the company's special effects TV dramas, including editing and filming as a member of both the special effects and drama teams.
In 1975, Tanaka left Tsuburaya Productions and became a freelancer. She worked as a commercial ad planner and writer for several food companies and continued to work on documentary projects focused on the Great East Japan Earthquake in the late 2010s.[1][2]
