Asami Nezu is a character in Ultraman Tiga. She is the daughter of Masachika Nezu.
Personality
Asami has a kind and friendly personality. She is very attentive in taking care of her pet, a long-tailed parrot named Shiela, whom she refers to as her "best friend."
At the same time, she also shows considerable understanding and heartfelt support for her father's career. For Masachika, Asami's presence is the most important driving force in his life.
History
Pre-Ultraman Tiga
20 years ago, Asami, her father Masachika, and their pet Shiela lived peacefully in Hokkaido, often caring for small animals that lived nearby their home. Masachika developed a powerful liquid gas called "Seldovas" in his own laboratory and went to an academic conference because of it. However, due to its high danger and the inability to find a way to mitigate the risks, Seldovas was not recognized by the academic community. Asami called her father and encouraged him despite this setback.
Unfortunately, there was only one droplet of the highly dangerous Seldawas gas left in their home, which eventually exploded. At the critical moment, Asami opened the window to save Shiela, but she herself was unable to escape the explosion. As a result of the disaster, Asami lost her life.
Ultraman Tiga
20 years later, when Shiela appeared from Mount Asama in Hokkaido and sacrificed herself by absorbing the Seluda gas to eliminate its existence, with the assistance of Ultraman Tiga, Shiela's soul fused with Masachika's soul and turned into a beautiful bird wrapped in dazzling light.
