Arnagaruge  was a kaiju that appeared in the TV series Ultraman Neos, episode 1.

History

Ultraman Neos

Arriving to Earth a granite-like meteor hit the side of a large hill and nearly destroyed a road where a couple were cruising along. HEART, a special unit created by the Self Defense Force to fight off aliens and astronomic anomalies, was sent to an abandoned mine shaft ofn the other side of the hill to investigate the meteor the locals soon dubbed Arnagaruge. When a piece of Arnagaruge was broken off and sent to HEART headquarters the piece began to move very fast on it's own until it hit a steam pipe and stopped moving. When a member of HEART drove into the mine shaft with a boy to find his dog Arnagaruge revealed his true form with HEART's car stuck on the monster's right shoulder. HEART Winner 1 and 2 were soon deployed as Arnagaruge went through a forest area where no one would be harmed. HEART assaulted the giant creature, but to no avail. Officer Genki Kagura ejected from one of the winners and used the jet pack within the seat to attempt a rescue. Time suddenly froze and Ultraseven 21 told Genki that he was the host of Ultraman Neos, but forgot his memory. After giving Genki the Estreilar the human turned into Ultraman Neos. While HEART thought of Neos as a second thought they soon reconsidered after he took the HEART vehicle with the humans and dog inside an waited for them to hover to safety before continue fighting. HEART used ice missiles, but it was nothing more than a great annoyance to Arnagaruge. Ultraseven 21 then sent Neos a message only he could see in order to finish the rock kaiju off. Once Arnagaruge was hit with more ice missiles Neos used the Magnium Beam for the first time and Arnagaruge exploded.

• The Suit actor of the monster is Yokoo Kazunori.

Powers and Weapons

• Reformation: If any part of Arnagaruge is broken off, that peice will find its way back to the main part of Arnagaruge and merge back with it.
• Hand Claws: Arnagaruge has golden claws for hands ideal for bashing enemies.
• Cold Resistance: Arnagaruge has a high resistance against cold temperatures.

Weaknesses

Parts broken from Arnagaruge are very sensitive to bursts of high temperatures.
