Anju is a guest character that appeared in Ultraman Arc. She is the guardian spirit of Homger.

The spirit depicted in the legend of Homger (center).
According to legend, Homger would appear alongside a spirit, which is Anju. When the kaiju was about to surface in the present day, she warned Yuma Hize to leave, with only him being able to see and hear her. Yuma fought the kaiju as Ultraman Arc until Anju implored him to stop, which caused him to be defeated. Anju told Yuma to leave Homger alone and that he did not understand the situation.
That night, as the GDF began their assault on Homger, Anju appeared before Yuma again, explaining that Homger's imminent explosion was to give birth, and claimed that she was there to help the kaiju co-exist with humans, though she seemed to think that meant humans should accept the explosion, and berating Yuma as inconsiderate when he mentioned this. Since humans could no longer hear her, she pleaded with Yuma to help Homger, questioning him if Ultraman's power was only meant for fighting. Ultimately, Arc was able to shield the city from Homger's explosion without killing the kaiju. Anju happily embraced Homger's offspring and the two vanished into light. The Full Moon's Answer
