Alien Tsuruk temporarily retreats due to Dan's attack and Leo escapes death. Gen is ordered by Dan to start the special training of parting waterfall water. Gen transforms into Leo again and takes on Alien Tsuruk!
Plot[]
When we last left Ultraman Leo, his color timer had run out after a seemingly fatal blow from Tsuruk sent the L77 savior into the sea. Believing Gen Otori to be dead, Dan Moroboshi ponders what to do next. Amazingly, Gen is found alive some time later. Dan castigates Gen, ordering him to remain in his human guise till he's mastered his triple attack regardless of when Tsuruk appears again. Unfortunately for MAC and Japan, the monster returns sooner rather than later.

Trivia[]
- In this episode, Dan quoted the famous line from the series for the first time: "What are those tears? Do you think you can save the Earth with those tears?"

- In this episode, Gen undergoes intense training beneath a waterfall, repeatedly attempting to slice through the cascading water with his body. The scene was filmed during the harsh winter.
- According to a 2024 interview with Ryu Manatsu, he endured the freezing water crashing down on him in the bitter cold. He described the sensation as not just cold but outright "painful." Despite warming fires during breaks, his body remained chilled to the core. Manatsu stood under the waterfall from early morning until his legs became so numb he could no longer move. By the end of filming, he collapsed directly into the water. With a touch of humor, he added, "One thing's for sure—the waterfall can't be cut through!".[1]
