Always Stay the Way You Are (そのままの君でいて, Sono Mama no Kimi de Ite) is the eleventh episode of the first season of ULTRAMAN. It adapts chapters 40 to 42 of the manga.

Synopsis[]

Seiji has a tense confrontation with Shinjiro and Moroboshi over the use of his powers. Rena asks Shinjiro to give Ultraman a message.

Anime and Manga Differences[]

Scenes with Endo and Kurata investigating the barcoded bodies are removed, as that subplot is not adapted by the anime.
In the manga, Shinjiro goes out with Rena before confronting Seiji, but these events are inverted in the anime.
In the manga, Moroboshi brandishes his Specium Sword when threatening Shinjiro at the SSSP base.
Shinjiro is not equipped with an image simulator device and instead actually dons his Ultraman suit to save the cleaners.
Scenes of the Star Cluster Alliance members discussing Seiji's appearance are not adapted.
Moroboshi never reveals that he is not human.
The aftermath of Moroboshi and Seiji's fight is slightly altered.
Scenes of Edo's daily life are not adapted.
Bemular and Yapool are never shown in their human disguises.
Yapool is not seen smoking like he does in the manga.
In the manga, Bemular looked at himself in a mirror when talking to Yapool about his current appearance.
In the manga, Rena does not yet reveal that she would be going overseas to study until later chapters. She also has yet to figure out Shinjiro's true identity.
