Allosaurus is a famous genus of large extinct carnosaurian theropod dinosaurs that lived during the Late Jurassic period.

• The stop motion Allosaurus puppet would later be seen among Ururu's army in Dinosaur Great War Izenborg.
  • The puppet used for close ups of the Allosaur would later go on to be used for shots of Arrow, Alulu, Gorgo and Ororo spitting flames in the same series.
• Allosaurus as well as Brontosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus and Stegosaurus are the only dinosaurs in the series that lived during the Jurassic period.

• Real-life Allosaurus had a weak bite, but a reinforced skull and powerful neck muscles. Some paleontologists have argued that they used their upper jaw as a hatchet, incapacitating their prey with repeated blows.
