The Allosaurus (アロサウルス, Arosaurusu) was a dinosaur from the Jurassic period. An allosaurus was one of the many poacher targets in Dinosaur Expedition Born Free.

The stop motion Allosaurus puppet would later be seen among Ururu's army in Dinosaur Great War Izenborg.
- The puppet used for close ups of the Allosaur would later go on to be used for shots of Arrow, Alulu, Gorgo and Ororo spitting flames in the same series.
Allosaurus as well as Brontosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus and Stegosaurus are the only dinosaurs in the series that lived during the Jurassic period.
