Conception[]
Etymology[]
Alligatortois' name is a portmanteu of "alligator" and "tortoise".
History[]
Ultra Q[]
While fishing off the Philippines, boxer Dynamite Joe caught an Alligatortois. Joe quickly learned of its ability to change sizes and released it back into the sea, but after repeatedly fishing it out of the sea, he decided to bring it back to Japan as a pet in a small fish tank, naming it Peter. Joe later learned of Peter's apparent ability to predict the outcome of his boxing matches, and became unbeatable against all of his contenders. When Peter predicted Joe's defeat at the World Championship, Joe went into hiding and took Peter along while adopting a new persona and career as a clown at a seaside resort.
Joe's manager planned to use Peter's abilities as a special attraction in a water show, and took the marine reptile out of his tank. The pool in which Peter was placed, however, was too cold for the creature to survive, and it shrank so much that it was impossible to locate him again. As Joe lamented Peter's disappearance that night, a bolt of lightning struck, sparking a wildfire and causing Peter to grow 30-meters tall due to the intense heat. In an attempt to save his friend, Joe tried to lead the creature back to the water, but Peter accidentally overturned an oil barrel, causing the already-raging fire to spread even further and result in its disappearance, leaving its fate unknown. Many years ago, Ichiro Nakamura encountered an Alligatortois and was able to contain it, in spite of its constantly changing size. This incident caught the attention of SKIP, who scouted him to join their Fujiyama City branch. Ultraman Omega[]
Two kaiju were reportedly sighted around the coast of Shizuoka; a giant kaiju off the pier, and a human-sized kaiju at a processing plant the following day. The newly-formed KSCT Special Task Unit was set out to investigate, with Sorato Okida, Kosei Hoshimi, and Ayumu Ichido being tasked to go to the processing plant. They discover that the small kaiju was feasting on fish and hypothesized that it came ashore due to the recent fish scarcity. Kosei later encountered the kaiju and was chased by it until Sorato fought it in hand-to-hand combat. Cornered, the kaiju began to increase its own body temperature and grew in size, revealing there was one kaiju all along. Sorato was unable to remember the kaiju, but noted it being similar to Alligatortois due to its size changing ability. Ayumu labeled it as King Alligatortois[2] [5], denoting it as a superior species.
Sorato and Kosei engaged King Alligatortois by transforming into Ultraman Omega and summoning Trigaron respectively, but struggled against its slime-covered body. As King Alligatortois slid on its belly, Trigaron mounted Omega on its back and chased after it, but once the kaiju entered the water, Trigaron abruptly stopped and tossed Omega into the sea, reverting back to Sleep Mode as it was unable to swim. Kosei summoned Valgeness in Trigaron's place to bring Omega and King Alligatortois back on land. Once Omega donned the Valgeness Armor, he used his Valgeness Halberd Freezing to lower King Alligatortois' body temperature and shrink it back to human-size. As King Alligatortois was about to attack Kosei again, Ayumu neutralized the kaiju using the K-Monitor as a stun gun. In the end, King Alligatortois was captured alive and taken to the KSCT HQ for study. The KSCT Special Task Unit
