"Earth was just a tiny planet hiding in the corner of the universe. But now Earth started moving out into space with massive military strength. [...] Earthlings have drawn the attention of the entire universe. But we must not forget that science should only be used for justice. It should never be used to show off one's power."

History[]
Heisei Ultraseven[]
Alien Kyuloo is a peaceful extraterrestrial race. Over twenty years ago, an Alien Kyuloo spacecraft piloted by Daitekkai had an accident and crash-landed on Earth. Subsequently, he took on the identity of a human named "Yoshiya Henmi " and befriended Hajikawa Ichiro, who ran the Hayakawa Science Publishing Company. Ichiro seemed to understand Henmi's true identity and trusted him greatly. As Ichiro was very busy with his work in Tokyo, Henmi formed a friendship with Ichiro's young daughter, Satomi Hayakawa, and took care of her.
To find a technical engineer on Earth who could build a spaceship to return to their home planet, Henmi wrote the first volume of a children's fantasy novel titled "The Sky-Flying Iron Colossus". In this novel, he inserted design drawings of Daitekkai's gravity shield system and quantum energy conversion system. Later, he secretly completed the second volume, which contained the necessary components to finish Daitekkai.
However, this design drawing caught the attention of the Alien Galo, a race planning to conquer Earth. They used the information from the books to construct a Daitekkai. However, due to the incomplete nature of the Daitekkai, they sought the next volume of the novels by Henmi to enhance the functionality of the Daitekkai.
Due to being targeted by the Alien Galo, Ichiro sent Henmi and Satomi to his hometown, Okinajima, to ensure their safety while he remained in Tokyo. Ultimately, Ichiro's publishing house was attacked and destroyed by the Alien Galo, resulting in Ichiro's tragic demise. Simultaneously, plans for the publication of the next installment were abandoned. In order to evade detection by the Alien Galo, Henmi concealed his whereabouts and consequently departed from Satomi's side.
Twenty years later, adult Satomi returned to her hometown of Okinajima for a vacation. While rummaging through the warehouse, she stumbled upon her late father's final publication, "The Sky-Flying Iron Colossus". However, the scenes depicted in the book unexpectedly unfolded in reality. This prompted Satomi to delve into the sequel described in the book and share the discovered information with UG.
Due to caution regarding the TDF's Friendship Plan, Alien Galo resumed their preemptive actions against Earth. He attacked Satomi, causing her to fall off a cliff, but Henmi found her and took her to his refuge. Upon awakening, Satomi recognized Henmi as the uncle who had accompanied her in childhood. Through Henmi's explanation, she also learned his true identity and the truth behind the burning of her father's publishing company.
However, the key to completing Daitekkai lay solely with Henmi, who possessed all the design drawings. Despite receiving assistance from Ultraseven, and Satomi assuring him that UG's abilities could protect him without the need for sacrifice, Henmi still chose to personally pilot Daitekkai to aid Ultraseven in combating Daitekkai. With the intervention of the Alien Galo, his powers were promptly absorbed by Daitekkai. His residual consciousness then requested Dan Moroboshi through Ultraseven to bring down Daitekkai along with himself, targeting Daitekkai's quantum energy conversion system for attack. Ultimately, when Alien Kyuloo assimilated with Daitekkai, he perished in the explosion of Daitekkai under Ultraseven's attack.
After the battle, a grieving Satomi murmured to herself, "Yoshiya Henmi finally wrote the word 'end' with his own pen in the book. As the sun set, she recounted the final chapter of "The Sky-Flying Iron Colossus".The Sky-Flying Iron Colossus
Trivia[]
- Actor: Shoichiro Akaboshi
- In that episode, he consistently appeared in a humanoid form, with his true appearance only hinted at through silhouettes, featuring long tendrils and a feather-like exterior. This consideration essentially reflects the director Shinichi Kamizawa's belief that "kind extraterrestrials should have a humanoid appearance".
