Akira Sasaki is a Japanese sculptor, renowned for his involvement in the model design of Ultraman and Ultraseven.
Career[]
Sasaki was born in 1939 and, after graduating from Musashino Art University, became a junior to Tohl Narita. Starting from September 1964, he participated in the art production of Tsuburaya Productions' Ultra Q and was responsible for creating the masks of Ultraman and Ultraseven in the subsequent two works.
After leaving Tsuburaya Productions, he resided in Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture, and regularly exhibited production works from the Ultraman series.
