Akira Amemiya is a Japanese animator and animation director.
Biography[]
Amemiya joined Gainax after dropping out of Tokyo Institute of Technology, and later became an animator for Studio Trigger.
Since the 2010s, he has worked as an animation director and is responsible for most of the animation studio's works, and since 2018, he has served as the main director of SSSS.GRIDMAN and related works.[1]
