Akihisa Taki Shin Ultraman and is the non-particle physicist of SSSP (S-Class Species Suppression Protocol).
is one of the main characters ofPersonality[]
Taki has a rather cautious personality and often jokes even in tense situations. However, when faced with measures that he cannot understand or respond to, he immediately expresses surrender, and even shows a side of frustration and self-abandonment. But after realizing the answer, he has shown a very positive spirit in conducting research.
Due to the fact that he kept some models of 1960s TV tokusatsu shows in his office, he was described by Hiroko as an "Otaku".
History[]
Shin Ultraman[]
Taki is an expert in non-particle physics from the Faculty of Science, Chengbei University [2]
, and the only scholar at SSSP seconded from the institute. He mainly proposes methods of attacking S-class species from a scientific point of view.During the mission to counterattack Neronga, During a mission to counter Nyonga, the SSSP cut off power to the area around the disaster, which angered Neronga and caused it to rampage in the nearby town near the power plant. Just as they were at a loss, Taki and the others were shocked to see Ultraman descending from the sky, and expressed their inability to understand the existence of such a being.
When Gabora appeared, Taki he proposed to reuse the hole dug by Gabora, but he gave up immediately after learning about its diffuse radioactive properties. However, afterwards, he witnessed Ultraman and Gabora's battle again, and shortly afterwards, he and other SSSP members discovered that Kaminaga was the real identity of Ultraman through a video deliberately uploaded to the internet by Zarab. However, through analysis, it was determined that the Ultraman who attacked the Yokosuka base was apparently fake.
After the battle with Zarab, he and other SSSP members witnessed Hiroko being enlarged by Mefilas as an experimental subject to showcase the Beta System Dimension Device to humans in the Hibiya area of Tokyo. Under Mefilas' personal explanation, they were able to witness the technological power of the Beta System. However, after discovering Mefilas' plot, he and other SSSP members helped Kaminaga locate the Dimension Device, causing Mefilas' plan to fail. However, because of this, Taki and the SSSP members were temporarily detained by the Japanese government.
When he learned from Kaminaga that Zōffy and Zetton planned to destroy the Earth, he felt helpless as the people of Earth were gradually forced into a desperate situation with the arrival of aliens and the development of technology and scientific power from other worlds. When he learned that all nuclear weapons deployed on Earth were also unable to destroy Zetton, he became frustrated and began to drink heavily, feeling defeated.
owever, Kaminaga entrusted Taki with the basic principles of the Beta system and the memory related to high-dimensional field equations for decryption. Encouraged by this, Taki found the possibility of defeating Zetton from the hope of decryption theory. He proposed the "Zetton Strategy International Conference" and presented a plan to push Zetton into another dimension one millisecond after activating the Beta Capsule.
In the end, he and the others witnessed Ultraman's successful defeat of Zetton with the help of their plan, but he was deeply saddened by Ultraman's sacrifice. However, when Zōffy gave Kaminaga new life, he and the other members smiled and were reunited with him once again.
