6 Ultra Brothers THE LIVE -Featuring Zoffy-[1] (ウルトラ6兄弟 THE LIVE -ゾフィー編-, Urutora Roku Kyōdai Za Raibu -Zofī-hen-) is a stage show held at Hakuhinkan Theater and livestreamed online in 2021.[2][3]

It was originally scheduled for April 3-5, 2020,[4] but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[5] 9 months later, 6 Ultra Brothers THE LIVE -Featuring Ultraman- was held first in November, followed by -Featuring Zoffy- in February.[2] Its ticket pre-sale was also cancelled.[6]

The stage show was added to TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION on October 22, 2021.[7]

Synopsis[]

In the first part, Zoffy, Ultraman Victory and Ultraman Ace face Yapool as the Ultra Brothers are picked off one-by-one.

In the second part, it is up to Zoffy to take on Alien Empera and rescue his fallen brothers.

Trivia[]

  • Zoffy's Ultra Sign to Ace is the same as his Ultra Sign from Ultraman Ace episode 6 "Solve the Mystery of the Transforming Terrible-Monster!", giving him permission to use the Ultra Guillotine.
  • The first part features Mirrorman, Fireman and Jumborg Ace as members of the Galactic Federation, a group that was meant to assemble heroes from Tsuburaya's works outside the Ultraman Series, as well as Ultraman Ace. Despite being mentioned in Ace and its theme song, and in a Triple Fighter insert song, the idea never fully came into fruition until this stage show.
    • While the group's name is not explicitly mentioned during the show, it is stated in the synopsis.[1][2]
  • The second part contains multiple references to The・Ultraman and its short film adaption:
    • Both stories involve the Ultra Brothers individually being defeated, leaving only Zoffy to save them.
    • Zoffy tricks Alien Empera by wearing Andro Melos's armor, similar to how he tricked Demon King Jackal by wearing Melos's armor.
      • The music that plays when this is revealed is the background song for Return of Ultraman''s title sequence, which was also used in the short film.
      • Zoffy says "If I wasn't wearing Melos's armor, I surely would have been defeated," similar to his line "If not for Melos's armor, I surely would have died," in the manga.[29]
    • Zoffy uses the Big M87 Beam (ビッグM87光線, Biggu Emu Hachi-jū Nana Kōsen), which he first used against the Vadarians in The・Ultraman.[30]
      • In the manga, it required the Ultra Brothers to form a pyramid for Zoffy to stand on top of so he could absorb their energy and fire it from his Color Timer.
      • In the stage show, Zoffy simply needed the Ultra Brothers to stand behind him and keep him steady, as the sheer force of the beam sends Zoffy flying backwards.
  • "Ankoku no Utage" from Ultraman Festival 2018 Live Stage Part 1 and Part 2 plays as Alien Empera defeats Zoffy, with Empera syncing his movements to the song.
  • The video of the beginning of the stage show that was released on YouTube has minor differences with the actual show, such as Zoffy and Taro not wearing their mantles, and different voice actors for Zoffy and Ace.
